Roücke Substrates

Our facility has the capacity to laminate thermofused melamine and high pressure laminate panels in sizes from 49” x 97” to 61” x 145”, with thicknesses ranging from ¼” to 1-1/8”.

Roücke uses only the finest cores in the industry. We believe that a premium product begins with premium raw materials.

 

Substrates that we stock:

Industrial Western Pine Particleboard:

Roücke uses a high-quality industrial Western pine particleboard from Boise Cascade and Collins. This light-colored board offers exceptional machinability and extends tool life.

Medium Density Fiberboard:

We use specialty medium density fiberboard (MDF) from Plum Creek, Ranger, and WestPine. These uniform cores allow for detailed routing and faster throughput speeds.

Sustainable Cores

No added urea formaldehyde particleboard:

We use Boise Evergreen™, Collins FreeForm™, and Encore™ from Sierra Pine no added urea-formaldehyde particleboard. They are both an industrial grade particleboard made from 100% recycled wood fiber.

Medex® MDF:

Medex® is a sustainable, moisture resistant, medium density fiberboard (MDF) panel that utilizes a formaldehyde-free adhesive system from Sierra Pine. It is especially suitable for interior applications where moisture is a concern. It is manufactured from 100% recycled wood fiber.

Medite® II MDF:

Medite® II is a sustainable MDF panel that is manufactured with a formaldehyde-free adhesive system from Sierra Pine. It is manufactured from 100% recycled wood fiber.

Arreis® MDF:

Arreis® is Sierra Pine's sustainable MDF panel that is manufactured using a formaldehyde-free adhesive system. This panel was developed specifically to drive down the cost of environmental stewardship and simultaneously deliver a high performance MDF. Arreis® has the same characteristics as standard MDF and it is manufactured from 100% recycled wood fiber.
